Happy Halloween to all our Ladd School Families! Thank you to our parents who joined us for the parade this morning or helped out in the classrooms for the Halloween parties. Everyone looked incredible in their costumes! Thank you to PTO who organized everything for today. We wish you all a happy and safe Halloween this weekend!
Illinois School Report Card Released
Today, the Illinois School Report Card was released and Ladd School is proud to announce our Exemplary Rating. We are very proud of our staff and students who work so hard each year to make sure our students are growing and learning! Congratulations, Ladd School Staff and Students!
Law Enforcement Drill
This past Wednesday we conducted our annually required Law Enforcement Drill with the help of our Ladd Police Department and Chief Frund. Our students all handled the drill very well. Law enforcement officers stayed to review the drill with staff and discuss additional safety measures we can implement to keep our students safe. Thank you, Ladd PD!
Fall Food Drive
Student Council will be conducting their Fall Food Drive next week. It will be the battle of the wings (Elementary wing vs Middle School wing) to see who can donate the most items! Can't wait to see who can donate the most and win the cookie party!
Veterans Day
Ladd School will be holding our annual Veterans Day Program on November 11th at 10:15. Veterans are welcome to join us in the cafeteria for light refreshments with their student and to visit their classrooms starting at 9:00. If you have a Veteran that you would like us to recognize in our program, the deadline to submit their information is today. Please call the district office with your Veterans information as soon as possible.
