Passing the School Bus
This week we had several instances of cars going around the stopped bus while it was unloading. Please remember that even in the school parking lot, it is illegal to drive around or pass a school bus that has its lights flashing and stop arm extended. Failure to do so results in a $300 fine for the first offense with a minimum $1000 fine for a second offense and the potential of a suspended license. Please help keep our students safe and be mindful of this when picking up and dropping off each day.
Student Section Seating
Our Girls' Basketball Season is well underway and our girls are working hard in their new conference. We want to remind students and families that our Student Section is in the North East section of the bleachers. The student section is marked with a red sign. Students are not allowed to sit behind the team bench on the West side of the gym. Families please leave that section for our students. Thank you
BVEC Music Concert
The BVEC Music Concert is coming up on October 20th at Bureau Valley High School. Students and families are invited to come and support our musicians as they have the opportunity to perform on a much larger scale with the surrounding schools. We hope to see you all there!
Career Presentations
Our presentations continue in Career Explorations Class for 8th grade. This week we welcomed a familiar face. School Board Member Jenn Perry came to present on her work with Covia Holdings. Our students are learning so much for our amazing community members who have volunteered to come and present on a wide range of careers.
PTO Officers Needed

Boys' Basketball Begins
Boys' Basketball Practices will begin next week on Tuesday, October 20th. A Parent meeting will be held at 5:00 with practice immediately following.
