Staff Appreciation Week
Today we wrapped up our 90's Themed Staff Appreciation Week with a snack cart filled with vintage candies and treats. Our events each day are such a small token compared to what our teachers do for our students and families every day. We truly have the Best Team Ever at Ladd School! Thank you to all of you for everything you do!
Track Sectionals
Track Sectionals are today at 2:00. Good luck to all our athletes and coaches heading off to Track Sectionals today! They have worked hard this year and we know they will do well today!
5th Grade Wax Museum
The 5th Grade Class is hosting their annual Wax Museum and you are invited! The 5th grade students are working hard on their research and presentations to get ready for this event. We hope you will all stop by and let them dazzle you with all they have learned.
Graduation
8th Grade Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 6:00 pm in the Charles A Fiocchi Gymnasium. Graduation is open to the public. Our graduates received 6 tickets each for priority seating for the event. Tickets and letters with all important graduation information were sent home earlier this week. We hope you can join us to give the Class of 2026 a proper send off.
Extra-Curricular Awards Night
Our Extra Curricular Awards Night will be held on Monday, May 18th at 6:00 pm. All students who participated in an extracurricular activity are invited to attend and be recognized.
Awards Day and Kindergarten Graduation
We will be hosting our annual Awards Day and Kindergarten Graduation on the last full day of school, Friday, May 29th starting at 9:00 am. Please see the above schedule and plan to join us to celebrate our students and all their hard work throughout the year.
Happy Mother's Day
This Sunday is Mother's Day! We wish all the moms in our Ladd Community a very happy Mother's Day and thank you for all that you do to support our students and each other. The Village of Ladd is hosting a fun Mother's Day Bingo event at the Community Center on Sunday. We hope you can all stop by and celebrate our moms with a little Bingo fun!
Illinois Valley Youth Soccer
There will be an in-person soccer registration session on Wednesday, May 13, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Illinois Valley YMCA. Please note that this will be the only in-person registration event for the season.
If you cannot attend in person, online registration remains open until May 29. We encourage you to stop by the YMCA and see us or complete your registration online today.
