State Bowlers
Congratulations to the state qualifiers from our Ladd Bowling Team. Our team finished 3rd at Sectionals on Saturday. Extra congratulations to Talin Bland who placed 6th overall, and Lucas Gambiani who placed 9th. The boys team is currently at the state tournament today joined by Maddie Sabotta from the girls' team who also qualified for State! Congratulations and good luck today to all our state qualifiers!
Earth Week
Next week is Earth Week! Thank you to our Student Council who does an amazing job each year planning our Earth Day events and helping teachers with activities to teach students the importance of caring for our Earth! Check out the dress up days above and have your child ready to participate in the Earth Week fun!
Kindergarten Round Up
Kindergarten Round Up will be held Tuesday, April 21st. If you have a kindergartener for the 2026-2027 school year, make sure you have your time slot for their kindergarten screening and official signing day! We can't to meet the class of 2035!
Preschool Screenings
The final preschool screening for the year will be held on May 5th. If your child is planning to attend preschool for the first time in the fall, or you know someone who will, they must be screened before they can be enrolled. We still have slots available for May 5th. To schedule a time, please call Carianne Thrasher at 815-894-2363.
ABC Countdown
Our ABC Countdown begins next week, which means we are nearly to the last 26 days of school! It is hard to believe how fast this year has gone. Check out the activities planned above to round out an amazing year at Ladd School!
Diggersz Volleyball Camp
The Diggersz Volleyball Club is hosting a summer volleyball camp at Ladd School for all student entering 3rd through 9th grade in the fall. Discounts for all Ladd Students that sign up! Check out the attached flyer for all details and sign up information. Camps are filling up fast, so if you go to sign up and it is full, make sure to add your name to the waitlist. Hall 8th Grade Open House
All 8th grade students are invited to attend the Hall 8th Grade Open House on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00 PM. Students and parents will experience guided tours, informational presentation, and question and answer sessions to ensure the best transition to high school. Check out the informational flyer on the open house and be sure to attend this important event.
