Girls Basketball
Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Girls' Basketball team! These girls, led by Coach Dempsey, Coach Bickett, and Coach Harmon, fought hard this season, playing through illness and giving it their all. The girls took 2nd place last night at the BVEC tournament against Bradford. We are so proud of them all!
Staying Healthy
We continue to see significant illness throughout the community and most seem to be lasting longer than normal. There has been an uptick in Influenza B, Covid, and RSV cases in Illinois.
As a reminder, school attendance is always our priority but not at the expense of your child's health or the health of others. If your child is experiencing any of the following, please keep them home until they are free of symptoms without medication for at least 24 hours:
Fever and chills – sudden onset of fever (100.4F or greater)
Respiratory – cough (starts out dry), sore throat, and nasal congestion and/or runny nose
Body aches – a lot of times felt in the back, arms, and legs
Fatigue – very tired and often complain of a headache
Gastrointestinal issues – nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or decreased appetite

Casimir Pulaski Day
As a reminder, we are in session on Monday, March 2nd. We will follow our regular schedule. The District Calendar can be found on the district's website at the top of the homepage.
2026 Graduation Day
At Tuesday night's meeting, the Board of Education established this year's 8th Grade Graduation. Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th in the Charles A Fiocchi Gymnasium at 6:00. Watch for further details on the graduation ceremony and practices as it gets closer.

Parents, please don't forget to fill out our 5Essentials Survey. We look at all your feedback and use it to focus our improvements for the coming year. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Final Yearbook Reminder
The final deadline for yearbook orders is Friday, March 6th. Yearbook orders can only be placed on line so please check your email for the final reminder and link from Mrs. Jasiek.
Hall Math Test
All 7th graders are invited to take the Hall Math test held on Saturday, March 14th. Please see the attached Placement Test Flyer for more details. Students who have a conflict on March 14th can call Hall at 815-664-2100 to schedule an alternate time.
