Roller Skating
Our kids are doing a great job with the roller skating unit. Thank you to Mrs. Koncor for putting this together for us every year. A parent skate was held on Thursday this week and another with be held next Thursday. Please come join your child before the unit ends.
5Essentials Survey
Parents, please take a moment to fill out the 5Essentials survey for Ladd School. We love opportunities for parent feedback and will use the data to help us improve instruction and programs at Ladd School.
The 5Essentials Survey is required by all school in Illinois. It identifies five indicators that lead to improved outcomes for all students, including improved attendance and larger test score gains.

Cold and Flu Season
We are in the thick of cold and flu season and we are seeing a lot of absences as a result. I want to remind families that while we absolutely want school attendance to be a priority however, if your child is truly sick, please keep them home. Kids must be free of fever, vomiting, and diarrhea for a full 24 hours without medication before returning to school. As always, if your child is sick please call the office at 815-894-2363 to report their absence.
Donuts with Grown-ups Sign up
Last week we sent out the information regarding Donuts with Grown Ups on February 27th. We hope you can all join us for this fun event hosted by the PTO. Please use the attached Donuts with Grown Ups RSVP Form to let us know how many will be attending.

Valentine's Parties
PTO Valentine's parties will be held on Friday, February 13th at 2:00. Please watch for information from your child's teacher on Valentine's procedures.
Last Call for Yearbooks
Friday, March 6 will be the last day to order yearbooks. Please follow this link, login or create an account at Treering (if you don't already have one) and order your yearbook.
