Roller Skating Next Week
Our much anticipated roller skating unit begins next week in PE. Students make sure you are wearing or bringing socks each day so you are ready to roll! Students will skate each day during their PE times for the next two weeks. Thursday, February 5th and Thursday, February 12th will be Parent Skate Days. Parents are welcome to come and skate with their students on those two days. Watch for a flyer with all Parent Skate information coming soon.
100's Day
Tuesday is the 100th day of the school year! Watch for information from your teachers regarding any classroom activities or projects to celebrate the 100th day of the 2025-2026 school year!
Casimir Pulaski Day
Casimir Pulaski Day was an Emergency Day on the school calendar this year. Due to the fact that we had to take an Emergency Day on Friday, January 23rd, we will now be in session on Monday, March 2nd. You can access the updated calendar here.

February Student Council Activities
Student Council has some fun activities planned for the month of February! February is busy with Valentine's Day, the Super Bowl, and Anti-Bullying Week. Check out the flyer above for all the information on these fun events.
Erin's Law Presentation
The annual required Erin's Law Presentations will be held for all classes on February 17th and 18th by Freedom House. Erin’s Law is named after childhood sexual assault survivor, author, speaker and activist Erin Merryn, who is the founder and President of Erin’s Law, which is registered with the State of Illinois and the IRS as a 501 (c)(4) non-profit social welfare organization.

After Erin introduced the legislation in her home state of Illinois, the bill was named “Erin’s Law” after her by legislators and it has caught on nationwide. Illinois is the first state by law to mandate child sexual abuse prevention.
All parents will receive an email today from Mrs. Jasiek through TeacherEase regarding the presentation as well as information to opt out, should you choose.

PTO Family Skate Night
There will be a Family Ice Skate Night at Echo Bluff on February 7th from 6:00-8:00. This is the second year that PTO has organized this fun event. Families can rent ice skates at Echo Bluff that night. Don't miss out!

Donuts with Grownups
PTO is also hosting our annual Donuts with Grownups event on Friday, February 27th. Check out the times for your child above an join your child for coffee and donuts in the cafeteria. All our special grownups are invited! Please RSVP by February 23rd
Preschool Screenings
Preschool screening appointments are available on March 19th and May 5th. Please call the office at 815-894-2363 to schedule your preschool screening appointment.
Kindergarten Round-Up
Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on April 21st for all students entering kindergarten in the Fall of 2026. Parents can also call to schedule an appointment for Kindergarten Round-Up at 815-894-2363.
