Middle School Readers Theater
Mrs. Zrust's middle school classes wind down from a hard week of testing with some Readers Theater fun. Apparently, we have some talented actors in our middle school! Great to see them showing their creativity and having a little fun.
Foundation Taco Night
Tickets for the Ladd Foundation Taco Night are now available! Get yours today and help support the Ladd Community Education and Enrichment Foundation. The Foundation supports experiences for all students, providing field trips, assemblies, music instruments, classroom materials and more. We are so lucky to have the members of the Foundation who work so hard to support our classrooms and our students. Join us on February 16th to support our kids! Details below.
Dodgeball Tournament
Don't miss your chance to participate in the annual PTO Dodgeball Tournament. This is such a fun event every year, with students, parents, and staff coming together for some fun and healthy competition. Team sign ups are in the office. Get your team sign up before it is too late! PTO Dodgeball Tournament will be held Friday, January 23rd at 5:00 pm.
Skating Reminder
Roller skating permission forms were due on Monday. We still have some families who have not turned in permission slips. We have funding opportunities available for families so that all students can participate, so please make sure you turn in those permission slips so that your child doesn't miss out on this fun PE unit with their class.
Coming Soon
As we move into the new year, we are already thinking about next year. We have set a date for our Kindergarten Round-Up on Tuesday, April 21st. If you have a child entering kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, or know someone who will have a kindergartener, save the date in your calendar. More information will be coming out soon!
We also have received some inquiries about preschool screenings for next year. Our preschool screenings are held each year in mid-March and the end of May. We will be releasing those dates soon as well. All students entering preschool for the first time must have a screening.
Martin Luther King Jr Day
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 19th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Enjoy the long weekend! School resumes on Tuesday, January 20th.
