Welcome back to school, all students and families! We hope that you all enjoyed your winter break and had lots of family time together. We are ready to kick off 2026 and to get back into the school year.
School Fundraiser Begins
Our SchoolStore Fundraiser began this week. Students brought home lanyards this week with sign up details. Every student that signs up helps our school. Students can earn their Book Buddies by returning the lanyard and proof of sign up to the front office.
Roller Skating
The highly anticipated Roller Skating unit will begin soon. Roller Skating begins February 2nd. Students will participate in a two week roller staking unit as part their Physical Education class. Roller Skating forms for all students due on Monday, January 12th.
Spring Play Cast Announced
This year's spring play is Goldilocks on Trial. In this courtroom comedy, Goldilocks is on trial for breaking and entering. Will she be found guilty and sent to prison, or will the truth come out? The cast was officially announced this week. Congratulations to the above students! The production will be held at Ladd School on March 25th.
Dodgeball
The PTO Annual Dodgeball Tournament will be held on Friday, January 23rd. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Students and adults must sign up with their teams by January 22nd.
Fastbridge Winter Benchmarking
We will be starting our winter benchmarking window on Monday, January 12th. Students K-8 will be taking their Fastbridge winter assessment to check on progress from the fall in reading and math.
Foundation Taco Night
The Ladd Community Education and Enrichment Foundation will be hosting a Taco Night Fundraiser at the Ladd Moose on Monday, February 16th from 5:00 to 7:30. Tickets are available in the District Office or with any Foundation member. Tickets are $10 for 3 tacos and orders can be placed to dine-in or carry-out. Get your tickets today.
