Author Presentation
Our 4th through 8th grade students had a real treat this week. Ladd School alum and published author, Noah Hollinger, came to give a presentation on the history of story telling and his new book The Storyteller's Guild: The Chamber of Secrets. Students had the opportunity to practice storytelling and to learn about his new book. Thank you, Mr. Hollinger.
Speech Wins
Our Ladd Speech team had a very successful weekend at the IESA Speech Competition last Friday. Of our 12 solo and team performances, Ladd took home 10 level 1 ratings (the highest award) and 2 level 2's. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! Well done!
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Ladd Families! Our Thanksgiving Break will begin with an early 2:00 dismissal on Tuesday, November 25th. There will be no school Wednesday, November 26th through Friday, November 28th. We hope you all enjoy a wonderful holiday filled with family and gratitude.
Winter Holiday Fun:
The winter holidays will be here before we know it. Ladd School will have its traditional holiday week of celebration leading up to winter break. Check out the attached flyer for the holiday dress up days for the week of December 15th-19th. Get into the spirit and get your holiday gear ready to go.
