Attendance Winners

Congratulations to Miss Harmon's Third Grade class! They are the big winners of the January attendance competition! Third grade took the lead this month with a whopping 99.3% attendance rate! Can anyone knock them out of first place next month? We will see!

New Staff

Ladd School has a new friendly face in the building! Mr. Chris Salazar is taking over as the new Head of Maintenance at Ladd School! Mr. Salazar has jumped right in, getting to know students and staff and keeping our building in fantastic shape. Make sure you introduce yourself and welcome him to Ladd School!

Thank you, Parents

Parent Skate was a success again this year! We love any opportunity to have our parents in the building and they did not disappoint! We even saw a little competition between students and parents on those skates. Thank you to our parents for coming to participate in this unit.

Student Safety Concern

We have received several reports from middle school students regarding prank phone calls this week. The calls are coming in labeled "No Caller ID." The caller is asking for the names and numbers of other students as well as making threatening comments referencing knowing where they live. Local law enforcement is aware of the situation.

I want to urge students to be very mindful of what they are sharing both over the phone and on social media. Do not share any personal information about yourself or your friends to someone you do not know. Do not post anything that includes your address, your phone number, or other identifying information. Report any concerning posts, messages, or calls to a trusted adult rather than engaging.

Parents, please talk to your children about this issue as well as how they are interacting on social media platforms. Monitor their platforms and friend networks to ensure you know who they are communicating with. You can find more information on how to keep kids safe in this Smart Social Networking Guide.
